Steph's wedding was my last makeup job in Auckland before I moved to Queenstown. Steph was an amazing bride to work with and she was so organised! We did a trial before the wedding for both Steph, her Mum and one of her bridesmaids to ensure we really nailed the look she was wanting for the day.
Steph had collated a great selection of makeup inspiration photos in her Pinterest album for the style of makeup she was after to suit the style of her wedding. The makeup looks she was wanting for the whole bridal party was soft and natural as her bridesmaids dresses and flower arrangements were all pastel colours.
For the bridesmaids I used warm tones on the eyes with a touch of shimmer in the inner corners to really make the girls eyes pop. I used a M.A.C Cosmetics mineralised lipstick for the lips to get the look natural and soft. For Steph's makeup we took a similar approach but used warm browns with a touch of gold on the eyes. For her lips I used the popular M.A.C Cosmetics lipstick "Syrup" with the lip pencil "Subculture" underneath.
The girls all looked absolutely stunning and once the whole look was together with hair, dresses and flowers it was the perfect style for a summer wedding.
